Boston Gathering Sets a Record!

19 ACC Survivors present

Saturday we had another record breaking and meaningful gathering of ACC survivors, with a total of 19 ACC survivors attending plus their supporters and family members. This was the largest gathering of ACC survivors ever, breaking the record of 17 who attended last year. We all shared our stories and had a chance to chat over lunch with others, sharing and learning from each other. This particular event included Carlos Pablo, who is finishing up Proton beam therapy at Mass General with Dr. Liebsch, and his wife from the Philippines. At the end I got the chance to share the slide show presentation I have been doing all around the country on the history of the online ACC community and how it has related to ACC research, finishing up with a presentation of the regional gatherings and fund raising events this year.
