Seasons Greetings Donation Request Letter from Dan and Dawn Dube'
We created a seasons greetings letter this year that has been sent out to all of our family and friends, with a request for them to consider making a donation to the ACCOI as part of their holiday gift giving. We are providing this letter to all the members of the group so anyone can download this letter and send it to their family and friends as well. Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Organization International (ACCOI) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was formed to provide information, awareness and support for patients who deal with this disease, and to further research. Because ACC is so rare, historically large cancer organizations such as the NCI and the American Cancer Society have not provided any funds for ACC research. Through the efforts of our partners at the ACCRF, over the past few years some government funding has been directed towards general research on head and neck cancers which has included ACC, but there is still much that needs to be done.
Many well-known nonprofits use 35% or more of every dollar donated for administrative costs. ACCOI uses less than 1% of every dollar donated for administrative costs, and through our all volunteer team we continue to carry out our purpose of expanding our support services to the ACCOI community. All donations to ACCOI are tax-deductible in the United States and if your donation requires our federal tax ID number in advance, that number is 71-0916234. Your donation can be provide to us in the following ways:
By Mail
If you submit a check for a donation to the ACCOI, you will receive an acknowledgment letter with tax ID number which can be used for tax -deduction purposes.
Your donation may be made in memory of or in honor of an individual. We will send a personalized letter to the survivor you specify for a memorial gift or to the person you wish to honor. Please include the name and address of the person to whom you are paying tribute and the name and mailing address of the person who should receive acknowledgment of your gift. Also, include your mailing address so we can send you a receipt. We will take care of the rest.
